“great holiday in chalet louis with zenith holidays”
We had a great time in chalet louis - 2 families with 4 small children skiing for the first time. Big and comfy enough for us all and the balcony was great as we had a very sunny week. Our hosts were friendly, flexible and accommodating. Despite being delayed and arriving at nearly midnight, our host was there to greet us, with food and wine, and the rep manager who'd been at the airport all day was still pretty perky after a very long day. We would definitely come back! It's a 10 minute walk to the bucket lift from the chalet which is straightforward. We hired heated lockers in town and left all our ski gear there rather than lug it back and forth as we had small children to get to ski school early in the morning.

“Fantastic week in Chalet Louis in Alpe D'Huez”
We stayed in the fabulous Chalet Louis from 20-27th Feb and what an amazing week it was. Brilliant skiing week with the chalet a short chicken basket ride to the slopes. Our hosts through Zenith holidays were George and Elliott - they looked after us all week and nothing was too much trouble. We had our meals cooked for us and what a fabulous choice it was. We were very pleased at not having to cater for 8 of us all week ..... Had a lovely meal at the restaurant across the road on Elliott's night off. The bars around the chalet were great and didn't have to walk far to them. The ski locker/boot room was excellent as was the chalet. Our chalet was clean and had everything we wanted ..... Lovely rooms and always hot water showers. Will definitely book for next year. Thanks again for looking after us so well Elliott & George!

What we like

  • great location for the town and just 70 metres to the lift
  • wooden style interiors and comfy lounge area.
  • ski shop is directly underneath

What we would change

Ideally all rooms would be ensuite, but this would have reduced the number of bedrooms in the chalet (and subesequently made each room more expensive!)

Not ski in /out - but very close to the lifts (70m)
