The Sunegga funicular is located just 200 metres from the hotel or just a couple of minutes’ walk to the ski bus stop to Klein Matterhorn lift allowing guests quick and easy access to the ski slopes each morning. The ski slope from the Sunnegga down to Zermatt offers direct ski-to-door access to Hotel Holiday for advanced skiers.
The hotel restaurant is run by a French Chef and serves a variety of culinary delights to suit everyone. Begin your day with a hearty breakfast of fresh bread, a choice of preserves, cereals, porridge, yoghurts, eggs, fruit juice and unlimited tea and coffee, plus a simple cooked option of eggs and one other hot item.
On your return from the slopes a freshly baked cake or biscuits with tea and coffee awaits. In the evening, enjoy a delicious freshly cooked 2 course meal with unlimited wine until coffee.
Breakfast and dinner will be served on 6 out of 7 nights and a continental breakfast will be left out on 1 morning.
The bedrooms were renovated in 2008 and feature great views over the surrounding mountains and are decorated in an authentic Alpine style.
Refinement and attention to detail coexist in each room to offer guests maximum comfort. Choose between their double and family rooms. The family rooms have three or four beds, and some have connecting doors. Each room has access to a balcony, so you can sit out and breathe the pure Alpine air, whatever the season.
