Prices

Accommodation and ferry crossings or transfers are included in the price of all our winter holidays - for our French product, we include return Eurotunnel crossings but, if you would rather fly, we will do airport transfers from the appropriate airports - some attract a supplement

Chalet Board, HB or room only will depend on the accommodation, this can be found in ‘At a glance’ on the accommodation information page of our website. Most resorts have a rep who is on hand to offer advice and help during your stay. Our summer holidays include accommodation , board basis as stated and in some cases transfers (see each resort page)

Half board options and upgrades are available in some of our accommodation, please ask us about this.

  • Group Discount

Yes - if you book a whole chalet, you benefit from a discount of up to 15% discount - select whole chalet on the booking page and the discount will be applied

If not booking a chalet, it will depend on the size of your group – please call or email us for a quote

Accommodation

  • Do I have to pay an under occupancy for a room?

The apartment/chalet price is the same regardless of how many people it may occupy. For insurance purposes the room cannot be over occupied.

  • I am travelling alone will there be a single supplement?

In some of our resorts we have single rooms with no supplement payable, however some hotels do charge a supplement where twin rooms are used for single occupancy.

  • If I want a balcony will I get it?

For our chalet accommodation, all our rooms are named and facilities described - accordingly, if you book a room with a balcony, you will get that one. When the chalet is taken by a group the party leader can decide the room allocation when you arrive in the resort.

For the apartments/hotels we can request rooms with balconies if these are available, in some cases a supplement may be charged.

  • What is a duplex or mezzanine accommodation?

A split level apartment, the mezzanine generally is an open bedroom above the living room and a duplex will be rooms on two floors.

  • Will I need to take a towel?

All accommodation will provide bath towels. You will need a tea towel in some of the self catering accommodations. (in some cases these are available if you book one of the cleaning packs)

  • What is an Austrian Twin Bed?

An Austrian twin bed is a double bed base with 2 single mattresses and 2 quilts. You will find these in almost all Austrian hotels

  • What is Chalet board?

Included in chalet board is breakfast, afternoon tea and a 3 course evening meal 6 days a week. Free tea and coffee is available all day and wine and soft drinks during the evening meal.

There is an option to eat out locally for more than 1 evening and you will be discounted for this. You will need to book this at least 2 weeks before you travel. Basic toiletries are included.

  • Will Gluten free meals be catered for?

Please give details of any dietary needs at time of booking and these will be catered for.

  • Can I book a cot for my baby?

Yes we can organise this for you in most apartments/chalets. Please make sure that you request this when you book. You can also pre book our baby packs.

  • What crèche facilities do you have?

We work with the local crèches in resort and can give you help and advice on booking these. In many of the ski resorts there are facilities run by the ski school which we can pre book for you. In some resorts we can arrange a private nanny for you. Please see the families section for details and prices

We do advise you to take some basics with you such as tea, coffee, salt and pepper, toilet roll or alternatively we can offer you a basic food parcel for your arrival at an extra cost. This will include items for an evening meal, breakfast, tea, coffee etc to get you started.

This is different for each hotel/apartment and you can see the specific information under the accommodation details.

Usually check in time is from 5pm and check out at 10am.

If your timings are such that you need to store baggage, do let us know and we can advise on the best options for your accommodation

Insurance

Travel insurance is a requirement of travel - we appreciate there are many policies out there and many of you have annual policies and/or insurance deals as part of your supermarket shopping or banking arrangements.

Therefore, we do not propose a specific insurance policy but do ask that your policy does cover you for the activities that you will be enjoying

Your booking

You will receive a confirmation schedule by email within 2 days of making your booking. Should you wish to receive a copy through the post please email your request to reservations@zenithholidays.co.uk or ask us over the phone.

  • If you need to change your booking

If you change your booking, e.g. different date, resort, chalet/hotel provided there is availability, we will try our best to help. We will need confirmation of any change in writing by fax or mail. There is an administrative charge of £35 per booking per change plus any extra payment which may be incurred due to a difference in the holiday cost and/or any charges levied by our suppliers.

Travel

  • Airport transfer

When booking your holiday with transfers included, the transfer is from the stated local airport - the details will be confirmed about 7 days before you travel. Transfers can be in a private taxi, minibus or coach. In order to keep the waiting time at a minimum and the prices we charge you as low as possible, we do work with a range of suppliers and tour operators and combine groups where practical.

We have an international transport licence which allows us to perform our own transfers in our fleet of minibuses - we endeavour to use these where practical as it allows us to maximise the direct transfers and minimise the costs and therefore the prices we charge.

Do note that, in some instances, groups may not all travel in the same vehicle. For example a group of 10 may be transferred in 2 vehicles as each of our minibuses only has 8 passenger seats.

If you require a private transfer - do let us know - and we can let you know the relevant supplement.

  • If you fly to an airport further away will the transfer still be included in the price?

Yes, but there will be a supplement depending on distance and airport. Before travelling with any flight you will need to give us your flight information including flight arrival times and flight number.

  • What happens if our flight is delayed?

The resort manager or Transfer Company will be aware of your flight arrival time and will be waiting for you upon arrival.

We have preferential rates for the trains and ferries so do contact us for information (if you cannot see what you need on the site). 

Regarding flights, with so many low cost airlines and regional options available these days most people prefer to organise their own travel to suit their needs. We can offer you travel advice on arrival airports, driving times etc; should you need it so please call us if you have any questions.

  • Will I have to pay extra to take my skis on a transfer?

No, please let us know if you are taking your own equipment and we can book this for you. For the flight, ski boots and skis are considered over size with most airlines and will incur an additional charge.

You will need to check these charges with your airline.

Payments

If you book online, we will take your deposit by credit or debit card with a fee of 3.5%. However, if you would like to pay by bank transfer, we will charge no fee - the room will be held for 24 hours whilst you make the transfer - as the supermarket says - "every little helps".

Regarding your balance, we will not charge for a bank transfer but will charge a 3.5% credit card fee - the pesky banks charge us so we pass it on. Unfortunately, we cannot acccept Amex

You will need to pay a deposit of 20% of your holiday. The remaining balance is due 8 weeks prior to departure. If you book within 56 days of travelling you will need to pay the full balance.

Cancellation

You will need to contact us in writing or by email to reservations@zenithholidays.co.uk.

Cancellation charges will be liable depending on the date of cancellation received. The terms and conditions of charges can be found in our booking conditions.

Ski Extras

  • Do I have to hire ski equipment with you?

No, but we can make life much easier if you do, we can also offer you a discount on the price you would normally pay in resort. You can pre book your equipment on line or alternatively call us here on 0203 137 7678.

  • Can you advise me which resorts are suitable for snow boarders, beginners, intermediate or advanced skiers?

Yes – we have tried to include as much information as possible on the resort pages, but please email us or call us if you require any further information

  • Can I pre-book lift passes and ski school through you?

Yes we can save you time and often money by booking your lift pass and tuition prior to arrival.

General enquiries

Can you explain what ‘on request’ means and can I hold a holiday on an option?

On request means we need to speak to the hotelier or agency to confirm a room or service before we can confirm your booking.

If you would like to book something which is “on request” please email or call us and we will contact resort immediately.

Where you see the "Hold my place" selection, your can hold an option for 48 hours
