  • Itinerary & prices - see below
  • Getting here - transfers included from Dubrovnik airport

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Dubrovnik

After your arrival into Dubrovnik airport you will be transferred to Zaton, a charming and picturesque 2km long bay only 8km from Dubrovnik.

Zaton will be your base for the first three nights of the holiday.

Enjoy one of the many waterfront restaurants and savour some of the Croatian delicacies this evening.

    Overnight accommodation and dinner included.

  • Day 2 - Hiking in Mljet Island National Park

This morning you will take a boat from Dubrovnik to Mljet Island National Park.

The Northern most part of the island is covered with a dense, green forest and the Park has two beautiful salt water lakes one of which has a 14th century monastery on a tiny island which is quite spectacular.

You will have the chance to explore the Park on foot, enjoy a swim in the warm waters of the lakes and take a short boat ride to St Marys Island to see the monastery should you wish.

In the afternoon you will enjoy cruising back to Dubrovnik and return to Zaton for a quiet sunset and dinner.

    Walking: 3-4 hours, easy/moderate; Ferry: 1h 30min each way

  • Day 3 - Visit Dubrovnik and Hiking to Mount Srdj

Today you will have the opportunity to visit Dubrovnik - one of the most beautiful Mediterranean towns.

We recommend that you enjoy an ice-cream or a coffee in one of the many open air bistros along Stradun the Old Town's main street and promenade.

You can also hike to Srdj which is the mountain protecting Dubrovnik from the North and offering a great view of the whole area.

If you feel like it you can also take an optional trip to the nearby Lokrum Island and enjoy its botanical garden and olive groves or take the walking tour of Dubrovnik's famous city walls.

In the afternoon you will catch the ferry to Sipan Island where you will overnight.

Walking: 3 hours, moderate; Drive: 15 min; Ferry: 1h.

  • Day 4 - Sipan Island Walking

Today is dedicated to the largest of the Elaphiti Islands - Sipan.

Here you will enjoy the colourful villages of Sudurad and Luka Sipanska where a real country lifestyle exists with chapels, monasteries, palaces and the summer houses of the ancient Dubrovnik aristocracy can be enjoyed.

The island is unbelievably rich in history and tales from its turbulent past are well preserved.  You can explore them by walking and there will be plenty of time to relax on the beaches or in cafes too.

    Walking: 3- 4 hours, easy/moderate.

  • Day 5 - Optional trip or beach day

This is the last day of your holiday if you have booked the 5 day option.

For those staying on you are free to do whatever you enjoy today - whether it be sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, walking or sea kayaking!

  • Day 6 - Kolocep Island Walking

Today you will take the local ferry in the morning and visit the Island of Kolocep. The island is particularly interesting for its dramatic scenery with rocky beaches, high cliffs and colourful reefs.

Walk through Gornje Celo and Donje Celo, both of which are beautiful romantic Mediterranean villages.

A pleasant noon siesta will take place in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere of Gornje Celo turquoise bay, near one of the best fish restaurants in the area.

Walking: 3.5 hours easy/moderate; Ferry: 35 min each way.

  • Day 7 - Lopud Island Walking

Lopud is an island with lots of sunshine, sandy beaches and palm trees, free from traffic.  The only town on the island has no more than a couple of hundred permanent residents, old houses of beautiful architecture and an abundance of flowers everywhere.

The sandy beach of Sunj Bay on Lopud’s southern side is the most popular beach of the Dubrovnik area. However this island’s true treasures are its tiny churches and a fort strategically located at one of its highest points. In the past it served as an observation point and was used to protect the island’s safety. Today it offers stunning views of the Elaphiti Archipelago and Mljet Island.

Walking: 4 hours; Ferry: 20 min each way.

  • Day 8 - Departure

Transfer to Dubrovnik airport for your flight home. You can book your flight from 10 am onwards. Earlier departures can be accommodated, but are subject to surcharge. There might be several group transfers between the destination and airport depending on flight departure time.

If you decide to spend more time in Croatia, our guides will be happy to recommend other beautiful places to visit – especially those you won’t find in tourist guide books.
