Multi sport week from Dubrovnik to Zagreb

This 8 day, 7 night multi sport week takes in Dubrovnik, Elaphite Islands, Cetina River, Paklenica, Split and Zagreb.

Great landscapes, nice bathing beaches, old summer residences, some dating back to Dubrovnik Republic time, orange and lemon gardens, promenades along the sea, medieval monument, medieval castles, ancient monasteries, kayaking, swimming, rafting, amazing National parks, traditional cuisine, caves and flaming sunsets are but some of the wonderful adventures you will take in during this week.

  • Day 1 - Dubrovnik

    Meeting and transfer by minivan from the airport to the centre of Dubrovnik where you will be welcomed by your local host.  

    You will then have free time to visit the city depending on your arrival flight schedule.

    • Overnight in Dubrovnik.


  • Day 2 - Kayaking Dubrovnik - Elaphite islands

    After breakfast this morning, you will be taken by ferry to Lopud Island.  There you will gather on the beach for your guide to talk you through the safety procedures and tips on paddling techniques.  

    With all your gear and instructions complete, you will take to the waters and start paddling from the bay of Lopud to the island of Sipan, once a centre of authority of the Dubrovnik Republic.

    After you have enjoyed lunch you will go on an early ferry to Dubrovnik or paddle back to the island of Lopud, explore the island and return to Dubrovnik in the evening.

    After dinner, pancakes are a must on the most popular part of the old town.

    • Daily activity: Around 3 hours of paddling 2 hours of snorkeling; swimming, island walking

  • Day 3 - Rafting on the Cetina River

    After breakfast you will drive towards the small town of Omiš, just 20 kilometres from Split where you will meet the ratfing team and drive to the amazing Cetina River where you will start your unforgettable rafting experience.

    After lunch you will drive to your accommodation where you will be welcomed by your host and then go to Split where you will have free time to walk on a popular promenade and visit Diocletian’s palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built in 4th century.

    Enjoy a free evening in Split and delicious Mediterranien food.

    • Daily activity: Approximately 5 hours of paddling, walking


  • Day 4 - Hiking National Park Paklenica

    This day is reserved for the amazing national park, the first one for you in this tour, the National Park Paklenica.

    You will enjoy breathtaking viewpoints and enjoy its natural and cultural heritage. Due to its unique natural features, magnificent forests and extraordinary structures, the area of Velika and Mala Paklenica was proclaimed a national park in 1949.

    The main reason for proclaiming this area a national park was the protection of the largest and best preserved forest complex in the territory of Dalmatia, which was threatened by over exploitation. The Paklenica National Park stretches across an area of 95 km2 , on the littoral slope of South Velebit under the zone of the highest mountain peaks Vaganski vrh (1752) and Sveto brdo (1753).

  • Day 5 - Hiking Plitvice Lakes National park

    With a surface of 294.82 km2, Plitvice Lakes National Park is the largest of Croatia’s eight national parks and today you will enjoy some of its beauty.

    Plitvice Lakes was proclaimed a National park in 1949, also making it the oldest national park in Croatia. In 1979, Plitvice Lakes National Park was included in the UNESCO list of World Natural Heritage sites. The 16 lakes are known for their cascades and the ongoing bio dynamic process of tuft formation under specific ecological and hydro logical conditions. After visiting this amazing National park we drive to our accommodation.

  • Day 6 - Zagreb

    After breakfast you will drive towards the heart of Croatia, its capital city, Zagreb. On your way to Zagreb you will stop to visit Rastoke, a beautiful small village near the city of Slunj. There you will enjoy its natural beauty, rivers and take a coffee break. You will continue on your way to Zagreb where you will have free afternoon to visit the old town and all its beauties and historical monuments.

  • Day 7 - Zagreb kayaking/canoeing Jarun Lake

    Zagreb has its own sea only 15 minutes from the city centre It is called Jarun lake and it is also a sport centre where you will enjoy kayaking or canoeing around enjoy its six islands and enjoy lunch in one of the restaurants.

    In the afternoon you can also visit Sava river (optional). in the late afternoon you will go back to the city centre and enjoy delicious food and ice cream in one of the best ice cream shops in town. Dinner is included.

    • Daily activity: approximately 2 hours paddling, walking


  • Day 8 - Zagreb departure

    After breakfast, transfer by minivan to the Zagreb airport for your homeward bound journey.
