Skiing in Avoriaz
With no cars, the snowy roads are reserved for skiers, horse-drawn carriages, children on toboggans, and pedestrians, which creates a rather special atmosphere. Daring and timeless, Avoriaz’s unusual architecture blends into the natural surroundings, and the red cedar façades are classed among the greatest works of the 20th century.
Skiing & Boarding in Avoriaz
At a height of 1800m it has an enviable snow record and as part of the Portes du Soleil region has 650km of slopes for you to discover. An excellent area for snowboarders and intermediate skiers Avoriaz is also only 2 hours from Geneva airport.
Staying in Avoriaz
Most of the accommodation here is self catered (apartment or chalet style) although we do feature one hotel as well (Hotel Les Dromonts).
There has been a lot of investment in the resort with new residences being constructed/refurbished and the addition of the Aquapark has been very popular..
Our prices include the accommodation as well as a tunnel crossing as standard - if you would prefer airport transfers from Geneva, these can be arranged at a small supplement.
