Skiing in Les 7 Laux
Perched on a plateau in the Belledonne Mountains close to both Grenoble and Chambery Les 7 Laux is a purpose built ski resort (built in 1971) with excellent on and off piste skiing.
Skiing & Boarding in Les 7 Laux
Les 7 Laux has 2 resorts linked by one ski area - the larger resort is Prapoutel and the smaller one is called Pleynet. The resort was substantially renovated and partly restructured in order to offer to their customers all the services they require. There is a choice of shops, bars and restaurants in Prapoutel as well as a Sherpa supermarket for your food shopping.
The ski area has 120km of pisted slopes as well as some good off piste skiing which means the area is alot larger than it first looks. The skiing goes from 1350m up to the summit at 2400m. 90% of the lifts have been updated in the last 10 years and they are constantly adding new slopes. There's a good range of slopes for all levels and both sides of the mountain (Prapoutel and Pleynet) are connected by lifts.
