Nearby Flaine is a unique place in the resort itself you will find works of arts by Picasso, Jean Dubuffet and Victor Vasarely.The cultural centre hosts exhibitions with work of regional and international artists and it also houses a library.

The resort offers a range of extra activities for the family and any non skiers. In particular Les Carroz d'Araches is a great place for those wishing to try snow-shoeing and cross country skiing. Whether you wish to hire a guide or follow the clearly defined paths - you will find some lovely paths and areas to explore.
In the village there is ice skating, dog sledding, ski joering (being pulled on skis by a horse) as well as the usual bars and shops. In it's high altitude sister resort Flaine there is ice-driving (on quad bikes), bowling and a cinema....
