Ski Holidays in morzine
Whether you prefer to fly or drive, Morzine is a great option as it is just 75 minutes from Geneva airport (when flying) or 8½ hours from Calais (when driving)
There are two ski areas to explore from Morzine. The Pleney and Nyon lifts take you into the tree-lined Morzine-Les Gets ski fields and from the Super-Morzine and Prodain lifts you can discover Avoriaz, ski over into Switzerland and explore the other ski resorts in the Portes du Soleil. The full area pass covers 12 different resorts, 195 lifts and 266 pistes.
Recent improvements include a new gondola which more doubles the capacity of lift to the top compared to the previous Pleney lift as this one can take 3000 skiers/boarders per hour - this has helped solve the bottleneck issues that used to occur - especially during the holiday dates.
