Ski Holidays in Madonna di Campiglio

Situated in a valley with the Dolomites to the North and the Alps to the south, this resort is striking and memorable for its natural beauty.

You can also self drive - definitely cheaper - we recommend a stopover in Stuttgart - crossing Friday lunchtime, stop in Stuttgart and set off Saturday after breakfast and be in Madonna for 3pm - call us on 0203 137 7678 if you would like more info on this route

Ski Holidays in Madonna di Campiglio

The resort has an excellent snow record due to its enviable position which means that when the weather system is from the south, the clouds deliver snow having carried over the Dolomites and, when travelling from the North, the similar result occurs having passed over the Alps.

Skiing & boarding in Madonna

Madonna di Campiglio has a modern and efficient lift system and we feature a range of hotels and apartments that give easy access to a ski area that is of a good size and very well connected. New , recently, was a new link to the ski resort of Pinzolo which, as well as providing an extra 30km of skiing area to the network, also gives the Madonna di Campiglio skier access to the refuge in Pinzolo that offers a quite fabulous hot chocolate!

For many years, Madonna has also hosted the 3TRE – the alpine ski world cup race – which has been won by the greats from Alberta Tomba to Bode Miller. The event takes place at night and is floodlit (would have to be as they race at night!) and the racing slope leads straight to the centre of Madonna di Campiglio.

Staying in Madonna di Campilio

There are a range of options from self-catered chalet to apartments and hotels - some of the prices get quite expensive during the February holidays and at New year but do have a look at the options and email us if we can quote for your group

For non-skiers

If your ideal ski resort should also cater for non-skiers and some excellent après – look no further – the centre of Madonna di Campiglio has a delightful and engaging warmth and atmosphere and is, to a large extent, pedestrianised. There are a range of shopping opportunities which you would expect from an Italian high street and there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy an aperitivo in one of the fashionable bars.

Getting here

You can fly into Verona and have the shorter transfer to resort; or get the train to resort which is great....but cannot be booked until 90 days out......

Milan is also possible - email us for a quote on the transfer - can do the bus if the flight timings work or a private transfer.
