Skiing in Passo Tonale
The Italian ski resort of Passo Tonale is part of the Skirama Adamello-Brenta area and has direct access to 100km of downhill skiing, with 30 individual pistes, served by 30 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Passo Tonale itself, the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Skirama Adamello-Brenta ski resort of Madonna di Campiglio.
The ski resort itself is above 1500m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With pistes above 2500 metres, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.
One of Italy's highest resorts, Passo Tonale is located on the pass linking the regions of Trentino and Lombardy. The ski area has been extended over recent years with the development of new pistes and lifts around Ponte di Legno. Skiing is available on both sides of the valley and if you would prefer apartments rather than the half-board hotels, the village offers numerous bars, cafés and good value restaurants.

Childcare in resort
Passo Tonale is ideal for families. Children will enjoy spending time in the Fantaski play and learning area. The slopes in Passo Tonale are very easy and wide, and great for the children to learn the skills.
For the youngest - the Baby 'Creche' Pulcini in Temù looks after children between 1 and 3 years of age.
The resort can be accessed from the UK by air or by train - it is also possible to drive but, at 11 hours from Calais, it is not the easiest journey.
If flying, we can off options from Verona or Milan
The train is often a cost effective option as you will not suffer hefty baggage charges for the hold bag or for your ski equipment.
Getting to Italy is best done by taking the Eurostar to Paris (departs from St Pancras or Ashford) and then taking the Paris to Verona train.
We can arrange train tickets to combine with any of our Passo Tonale accommodation so do review the accommodation options and then email us your dates and accommodation choice and we will get back to you with prices for a train inclusive tour.
Rail availability is generally confirmed 4 months before departure but, if you are a group of 10 or more, we can often secure advanced group rates - contact us
We include your transfers from Verona train station
